Todd Bauer, MD

Dr. Bauer is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. He is also board eligible in Hematology. He received his undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University and his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago. He completed his internship, residency and chief residency at Vanderbilt University before his fellowship training at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Bauer joined Tennessee Oncology in 2012 from employment at the Richard J. Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University. While he cares for patients with all types of cancers, his special interests are lung cancer, breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancers and research.

Dr. Bauer is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology as well as the American College of Physicians. He sees patients in the Baptist clinic and the Sarah Cannon Research Institute Drug Development Unit.

In his spare time, Dr. Bauer enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading and golfing
