Nancy W. Peacock, MD
Dr. Peacock is board certified in Medical Oncology and has been with Tennessee Oncology since 1995. She worked with South Texas Oncology in San Antonio, Texas for two years prior to moving to Nashville in 1995.
Dr. Peacock completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, TX. She attended Medical School at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. She received a BA in Biology from Central Methodist College in Fayette, Mo.
Dr. Peacock has a special interest in patients with breast cancer but treats adults with all types of hematologic and solid malignancies. She is an investigator in the breast cancer program of the Sarah Cannon Research Institute.
She holds memberships in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, The Nashville Academy of Medicine, and Tennessee Women in Medicine and is a past president of that organization. Dr. Peacock serves on the Board of Trustees for her Alma Mater, Central Methodist University and is the secretary of that board. She is active in her church and currently serves on the stewardship committee. She has previously served on the board of directors of Alive Hospice. She is the chair of the Baptist Hospital Cancer Committee, and serves on the board of the breast program leadership committee at Baptist hospital.
