John Zubkus, MD
Dr. Zubkus is board certified in Hematology and Oncology and has been with Tennessee Oncology since July 2003.
Dr. Zubkus completed his undergraduate studies at University of Texas in Austin, where graduated with honors with a Finance degree. He completed medical school achieving AOA honor society membership while at University of Texas at Southwestern His Internal Medicine Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship were completed at Vanderbilt University.
He currently holds memberships in the AOA Medical Honors Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Zubkus sees all adult patients with solid tumors in both our Murfreesboro office and our StoneCrest Office in Smyrna.
When away from the office, Dr. Zubkus continues to enjoy competitive athletics. He plays hockey, tennis, golf and basketball. He still loves golfing even qualifying for a USGA national event. Most free time however is now spent with family and coaching.
